Unwrapping the Tarnhelm

Ahoy!

As of April, the Tarnhelm's hybernation is over. After cutting a hole in the shrink wrap over the back deck, Capt. Phil climbs in, ready to get her fitted out for the summer.

Plans include modifying the stairs into our main cabin so climbing in and out doesn't require ultra-long legs, installing new blinds (with fingers crossed that we can keep dozens of small spiders from making their home on them), fixing cabinetry that has been on Phil's to-do list for a couple of years, and tidying up. He also faces a number of mechanical tasks that you'll see in a future post
